In furtherance of that pursuit, the following individual and group counseling, assessment and referral services are continually offered by the School Based Youth Services Program at Pleasantville High School free of charge and are provided on a confidential basis:
Mental Health Services
Substance Abuse Services
Employment and Work Maturity Skills
Other free and confidential services provided by the program are:
Education Assistance and Tutoring
Health Services
Recreational and Cultural Activities and Excursions
Topical Discussion and Activity Groups
Counseling and other services can be scheduled by students , parents, school staff or other interested parties during school, after school or, in certain circumstances, provided on an inpromptu basis. Interested students become members on a voluntary basis simply by having their parent or guardian complete a parental consent form. Consent forms may be obtained at the School Based Youth Services office or by calling (609)383-6900 ext 4057.
School Based Youth Services is a program administered by Family Service Association in cooperation with the City of Pleasantville, The Pleasantville School District and the New Jersey Department of Human Services.
