The program will identify gangs and their areas of operation, prevent the increase of violent behavior, refer all youth and potential gang members to counseling at Family Service Association of social services as needed, identify leadership in Pleasantville street gangs, and identify children at risk for gang membership. Referrals are accepted from: schools, churches, after-school programs, law enforcement, probation, DYFS, parents, and community individuals. The program serves youth ages 8-16, Pleasantville residents, children with anger and behavior problems, and youth who display aggression, attitude and anger towards authority. The project is funded by: Weed and Seed, Family Service Association, AtlantiCare, and Pleasantville Police. The program is located at 9 South Main Street, Pleasantville, NJ 08232
