Confidentiality
The privacy of all persons who seek help is respected and services are provided confidentially.

Conference Room
The Family Center conference room is available for community and educational group meetings.
Fees
Many services at the Pleasantville Family Center are free. Family Services charges fees for some of the services it provides however, no one is refused services because of a lack of funds. Health insurance and Medicaid payments are accepted. Visa and Mastercard may also be used.

The Pleasantville Family Center is a community-based site, which serves as a central point of contact for families, individuals and children. The center is one of five family centers in Atlantic County which provide "one-stop shopping" for services. The Family Center offers a wide variety of community programs as well as resource counseling, advocacy and linkage to area services.
The Family Center is located at 9 South Main St., Pleasantville, NJ 08232. Our hours of operation are Monday –Friday 9am to 5pm.

Services for Families
Family Resource Counselors assess the needs of the family and suggest appropriate services at the Center and elsewhere in the community. They offer support and coordination to help the family get the services they need. Services offered at the Center include:

Case Management
The Family Center Resource Counselor provides a comprehensive assessment of the client's needs and problems and makes appropriate suggestions for services within the Family Center of Community. The Resource Counselor also helps the client gain access and locate these services and, when appropriate, serves as an advocate for the client's rights.
The Resource Counselor is responsible for case management and care coordination for services that are of a non-medical nature, inclusive of but not limited to mental health, substance abuse counseling, housing assistance, and information and referral services.

Outpatient Counseling Services
Outpatient Counseling Services are offered to individuals, couples and families who need the help of someone who is specially trained to understand the many problems that effect people in our contemporary society. Counseling sessions are tailored to meet the needs of each person. Counseling services are by appointment.

Parents as Teachers
In cooperation with AtlantiCare Foundation, Parents As Teachers program provides a home educator to assist parents of young children prepare their children for academic and social success. Services also include safety, nutritional and other health-related educational programs and help in securing needed medical care and social services. To schedule an appointment, please call
