The Egg Harbor Township Community Center is one of five family centers in Atlantic County which provide “one-stop shopping” access to many of the services individuals, children and families need. The Community Center offers a wide variety of community programs as well as resource counseling, advocacy and linkage to area services.

The Egg Harbor Township Community Center is located at 3050 Spruce Ave., EHT, NJ 08234. Our hours of operation are Monday 9am to 7pm and Tuesday –Friday 9am to 5pm. 609-569-0376

The Mission of the Egg Harbor Township Community Center is to promote, support and make accessible services to ensure healthy families and healthy child development. By encompassing a holistic approach, the center addresses various needs of families.

The EHTCC is a community based site which serves as a central point of contact where families can access services.

Recreation

Activities and trips are scheduled for clients of the Community Center. Contact the Community Center for an update on children and family activities currently scheduled.

Confidentiality

The privacy of all persons who seek help is respected and services are provided confidentially.

Fees

Many services at the Egg Harbor Township Community Center are free. Family Services charges fees for some of the services it provides however, no one is refused services because of a lack of funds. Health insurance and Medicaid payments are accepted. Visa and Mastercard may also be used.

Case Management

The Community Center Resource Counselor provides a comprehensive assessment of the client's needs and problems and makes appropriate suggestions for services within the Family Center of Community. The Resource Counselor also helps the client gain access and locate these services and, when appropriate, serves as an advocate for the client's rights.

The Resource Counselor is responsible for case management and care coordination for services that are of a non-medical nature, inclusive of but not limited to mental health, substance abuse counseling, housing assistance, and information and referral services.

Outpatient Counseling Services

Outpatient counseling services are offered to individuals, couples and families who need the help of someone who is specially trained to understand the many problems that affect people in our contempory society. Counseling sessions are tailored to meet the needs of each person and are available by appointment.
